FIFA World Cup 2026 Fixtures and Dates: For the first time in the history of the tournament, three nations co-host the FIFA World Cup. The 2026 edition takes place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from 11 June to 19 July 2026 — returning to its traditional summer calendar after Qatar 2022 was held in November and December.

During the group stage, each team will play 3 World Cup 2026 fixtures across 12 groups. The top two teams from each group and the eight best third-placed teams advance to the new Round of 32. The group stage will take place on the following dates:

The FIFA World Cup 2026 final match will be played on 19 July 2026 at MetLife Stadium (officially FIFA World Cup 26™ New York New Jersey Stadium), East Rutherford, New Jersey. Kickoff is at 3:00 PM ET. The stadium seats 82,500 fans and sits approximately 10 miles west of New York City. For the first time in World Cup Final history, a live halftime entertainment show will take place.
