World Cup 2026 Groups and Teams: The FIFA World Cup 2026 is scheduled to take place from 11 June to 19 July 2026. The World Cup 2026 is the first to feature 48 participating nations — a major expansion from the previous 32-team format — and the first to be co-hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The 48 teams will be split into 12 groups of four, with the top two from each group and the eight best third-placed teams advancing to a new Round of 32.
Let’s have a look at the stats of World Cup 2026 groups and teams one by one.
